Please plan to attend the December 21 Board of Supervisors
meeting where a historic vote will take place. The future of the Lower Wisconsin
Riverway project will be decided that night. If you wish to speak at the meeting
you may have to make prior arrangements.

This message is a call to action!
Your input is desperately needed NOW to help
persuade the Sauk County Board of Supervisors to support the Lower Wisconsin
State Riverway Board's position opposing the installation of a communications
tower near Thuli Road in the Spring Green area. This tower will be highly
visible from the river which violates the intent of a State of Wisconsin law.
Many thanks to the 200+ people who have already
signed the FLOW petition regarding this matter. Please continue to encourage
others to sign on at:
It has been stated by a Sauk County Supervisor
on the Communications Infrastructure Committee that "Petitions don't mean
anything, anyone walking by just stops and signs it". This should give you a
little insight into the mindset of the people we are dealing with.
Personally... I have NEVER before witnessed such hostility, rudeness and
disrespect when dealing with elected officials. Their behavior forces me to
ask you to send letters directly to ALL the Supervisors before the upcoming
Dec. 21st Board meeting. Letters to the editor of local papers would be
wonderful also.
YOUR attendance at the board meeting will help
ensure that these people get the message! I really, truly
hope to see you at the Board of Supervisors Meeting on December 21st, 6 PM in
Baraboo! (we will rendezvous after the meeting at Trader's Resort
just east of Spring Green on Hwy 14)

files. One is a copy of the latest article in the Spring Green Home News. The
other is a copy of the letter from the Wisconsin River Alliance concerning
this matter. Please encourage any group or organization that you are a part of
to send an official letter to board members!
Please use the attached documents and hyperlinks
to educate yourself and formulate your own letters and talks. Write or call
with any questions. This could be our last chance to preserve OUR riverway for
future generations to experience!
