Subject: Proposed towers
I have canoed the Wis river since the '60's.. I was born on the wis River in wis
rapids in 1950, I strongly oppose any further damage to this waterway that is
the property of ALL of the citizens of the State of Wisconsin. i canoe this area
frequently and will remember those that have a concern for the long term Environmental
quality of the citizens of this state.
Short term gain will cost in the long run and the tourist dollars are very
important to the residents of this area...Further back from the river would be
less of an eye sore and when the winds blow up the river the chances of it being
damaged by a storm are less. If we can't stop you now.. we will try again and
again later and rebuilding will be much more expensive to you as well.. Those
that reject the claims of Environmentalists,
can only risk the condemnation of future generations.
Hopefully you will view this project with the wisdom of long term
appropriateness, and what would you tell your grandchildren what you did, when
you had a chance to make a difference.
Sincerely
Gary S. Klonowski
