If elected, what would I do differently from my opponents?
1) Would form a 5 member Plan Commission, excluding any Town Board members.
2) Create a web site for the Township.
3) Communicate freely.
What are the three biggest issues facing the Township?
1) Loss of Farmland.
2) Creating jobs to keep our children here.
3) Lack of communication between Town Board and Town residents.
What would I do to add or trim from budget?
1) I will return all money due me from serving back to the township.
2) Make correct decisions so lawyers do not have to be obtained later.
3) I would add to the snow removal budget to have snow plows on the road all day and night during winter storm warnings.
What amendments would I add to the comprehensive plan?
1) No mineral extraction within 1500 feet of a residence.
2) Only one operational mineral extraction pit in Township.
3) Land or property owner must be present before a zoning change can be made.
What would be my service priorities?
1) Longer lasting road repair.
2) High speed internet service.
3) Let government decision making be made by the residents of the township not the personal opinions of elected officials.
