Dear Editor
In a letter to you from Alaine Schmidt she wonders where the Town Board
challengers were when the 2007 Town budget was agreed upon. Speaking for myself
I was at home. I did not see the meeting notice published in the paper. This
brings me to the point, if we had a town web site I could have accessed this
from my PC. No one should have to drive into town or to the town hall to see
public notices posted.
She also wanted to know where the challengers were when the town’s comprehensive
plan was created. Again speaking for myself I was at home taking care of my
young family. As we all know time passes fast. In August my wife and I will be
empty nesters. I now have the time and energy to be part of the town’s planning.
