The house is built to last and to perform. The roof is made from 12 inch thick styrofoam structural panels from WEPS. The walls contain 6 1/2 inches of styrofoam. That is a minimum of R-44 and R-28. The 8 foot foundation and 4 foot back wall are constructed using WEPS insulated concrete forms. Each poured wall has 2 1/2 inches of styrofoam on the outside and the inside. The basement slab has a vapor barrier and 1 inch of styrofoam under it.
