This is what happens when your GP tells you that brown recluses don't live in California. After taking 5 different antibiotics and treating it like a boil,I can tell you that it was a waste. I have had two children and this pain is by far worse, if I get bit again I'll personally start cutting out the bite site, right away before the venom travels. I opted not to have a skin graft, so I am little by little building up scar tissue..I am amazed at what a tiny spider can do, but I am more amazed how God made the human body heal. Thanks for the site Mark, it sure helps talking to other people that have been there done that..
