Week 3 - July 19 thru July 25

July 19th (Fri) – Related or not – have had hives all over for the past 2 days.

Have lost about 10 pounds in two weeks.

July 19, 2002

July 20th (Sat) – Still improving but energy levels are not back to normal.  Have trouble going up and down stairs.

When I look at the wound I am seeing 2 distinct bites and a possible third. As it heals it is getting very itchy!

July 22nd (Mon) – The wound area hurt last night.  Took a pain pill.  It’s almost like it is trying to heal too fast.  All the blister areas are red and raw from the top skin coming off.  The one deep scab has fallen off but it looks okay.  The middle yellow is ugly especially when wet

The Gold Bond Triple Ointment with Pain Reliever seems to be the best topical medicine.

July 24th (Wed) –When I move about too much (i.e. walk, stand)  the wound gets a big bruised area around it.  It just takes time to heal!  Treatment today:  Rest, Sunshine, Vitamin E and another Jin Shin Jyutsu session. July 24, 2002

July 25th (Thurs) - The wound is healing but it itches around the edges and has that healing hurt as the skin tries to figure out how to cover the hole.

Using Yarrow Salve and Elderberry Flower Compresses for the deep bruising and stagnant blood (not applying to open the wound)
