RVCC July 10, 2008 Spring Green Visit by Gov. Doyle and FEMA

Chopper at RV Schools Prairie Subdivision   Press Conference  Town Hall Meeting

While 50 residents were waiting patiently inside the Town of Spring Green Town Hall for over an hour, local officials waited in back of the building for Gov. Doyle and FEMA officials to arrive from the Prairie Subdivision inspection.

The entourage finally arrives filling the parking lot.

The Governor spent a half hour behind the Town Hall answering questions from local and Madison media including TV news crews.

Many questions were asked and answered by the media. Unfortunately, 50 local residents were still sitting by themselves inside the Town Hall waiting. Residents would have been better served if they had been invited by the Governor to come out and listen to the questions and answers.

Again more questions and answers that residents did not hear. Perhaps some will appear in the Home News and Madison newspapers.
