Subject: Spring Green and the flood damage
Gentlemen,
A few thoughts regarding the Town of Spring Green and the flood damage and costs;
1. Is a revised 2008 budget required to include, repair costs for drainage structures, pump rentals, additional time for Town Board, etc?
2. Identification of improvements that will be destroyed reducing the Town's assessed value. This will be reflected in the Town's share of the new fire station.
Additional information
1. After the 1993 flooding, Westbrook Engineers did a plan and made a presentation as to managing the storm water. What happened to this?
2. At the time Prairie Subdivision was "going through the hoops", Sauk County spoke to the Town Board stating that the area of the proposed subdivision was subject to flooding and should not be developed. Who approved the development?
We feel these issues are required to be addressed by the Town Board and Plan Commission.
Regards,
Mike Birr
