I wrote a letter to the Town of Spring Green Board members about how the Kraemer Company sand pit would adversely impact the lives of Jim and Maxine Pfefferkorn. The Pfefferkorns are only one of the families who live adjacent to the proposed sand pit. The Birr family lives on the east side of the property that would become the Kraemer Company pit.
Mike and Sami Birr also have a beautiful dream home in the Spring Green sand prairie. They have invested a lot to improve their lives and our community. Imagine how you would feel if your home was threatened by the Kraemer Company. I am sure you would hope that your friends and neighbors would at least write a letter to your elected officials to urge them to protect your home. The Kraemer Company has many opportunities to make some profits in other parts of Sauk County. The Birr family has only one chance to save their home and investment in our community. They cannot convince the Town of Spring Green Plan Commission by themselves. They must have your participation to have a chance to avoid this potential disaster.
