The Commission voted 5-0 against the Kraemer Company Sand Pit. We won an important battle, but the war is not over!

Our speakers were very prepared and delivered informative presentations which supported sticking with the Town Comprehensive Plan. They asked the commission to vote to oppose the sand pit. Here is one of the presentations.
There were about one hundred in attendance. The parking lot was filled. Cars were parked along the highway. Yellow shirts were everywhere.
And a few pink ones, too!
We have turned in over 700 signatures on our petitions.
Many people had to stand or sit on the floor. It was difficult for some to hear the commission members talking from the back of the room.
Our videographers recorded the meeting. Watching our government at work is very interesting.
