Attached are Kraemer Company, LLC's map of the proposed development of the
Spring Green sand pit on Highway 60 and Jones Road.
One photo shows the 600 foot restrictions of development from the face of the
six homes located at the boundaries of the site. Sad to say more family's
homes and lives will be affected, yet not included.
The second photo shows what they would propose for restoration 25 years from
now if the operation was closed down.
We encourage you to attend at the meetings Tuesday, August 29 (Community
Spring Green Public meeting), Thursday September 7 (Comprehensive Plan
amendments including adding mineral extraction), and Monday, September 11
(Presentation for application of Kraemer Company, LLC to develop and operate
the sand pit) where Kraemer Company will be seeking of the Township Plan
Commission approval of this project.
Bring your family, neighbors and friends and express your concerns to the
Township Plan Commission and Town Board and understand the public issues.
Public concerns will drive the final decision by
the Plan Commission and Town Board. This is the law. Make yourself heard and
support the community now.
